Nicha Amarante was born on December 19, 1979 in Portugal, Lisbon. Her parents are both from the Cape Verde Island.
She moved to the Netherlands in 2001 and she made her great professional career as manager at one of the biggest companies around the world, such as Zara, River Island and Michael Kors.
Beginning of 2017, Nicha decided to study Make Up at Cape Verdean teacher Make Up Miracle by Helly from Menataupe Beauty School for 10 months where she also had the opportunity to follow an internship.
After getting her Make Up Certificate in September 2017, Nicha learned one thing - "that every human being is beautiful" - but they only must learn how to express themselves and my purpose is to give them the tools to express their beauty to the world. After getting her certificate, she emigrated to Luxembourg on November 2017 with her husband and 2 kids.
Nicha began to achieve popularity on the social media’s platforms under her Make Up Artist name By Nish MUA. She started to attract a lot of followers and received many bookings. This did not go unnoticed as one of the biggest Cosmetics brands in the World, Mac Cosmetics, recognized her big potential and immediately contracted ByNish with a permanent contract.
In her first year, working as a Make Up Artist for Mac Cosmetics Luxembourg her popularity went trough the roof and her social media platform exploded as she became the greatest Make Up Artist in The BeNeLux
(Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg).
She began to be recognized by her diversity and the way she used colors with her amazing and stunning make up technique.
As Make Up is one of her biggest passions, her husband Santinho Lopes Monteiro, ex-professional Football Player, Motivator and Entrepreneur, inspired her to emigrate to another country to start their own Make Up Cosmetic Brand By Nish Cosmetics.
After 2 years working on the perfect lashes, they decided to launch By Nish Beauty Lashes in 2021. Their first product on the market is a series of vegan beauty lashes. Their main goal is to bring high quality products on the market combined with diversity and inclusion.
